Rare Extra Añejo Agave Meets Museum-Quality Art

A new luxury project called Singular Archive is blurring the lines between fine spirits, collectible art, and cultural preservation. The concept was created by spirits entrepreneur and artist Vicente Cisneros, who envisioned a platform where rare agave spirits are paired with sculptural vessels designed to be displayed like museum pieces.

Each release features limited-edition vessels that hold small-batch agave spirits sourced from independent producers across Mexico. Only about 100 vessels are released each year, and they are offered through an appointment-only collector platform, emphasizing their exclusivity and artistic value.

The first liquid expression is a rare blended extra añejo, combining two spirits aged for three years—one matured in ex-bourbon barrels with indigenous yeast fermentation and another aged in medium-char French oak with a Bordeaux barrique finish. The resulting profile offers layered notes of toasted almond, vanilla, dark cherry, cocoa, and baking spice.

Beyond the spirit itself, the vessels are meant to become lasting works of art. Collectors can even return the vessel for refills with new agave expressions released by the Archive, turning each piece into a living, evolving collectible.

With prices starting around $20,000, Singular Archive is positioning rare agave spirits as the next frontier in luxury collectibles—appealing to both spirits connoisseurs and art collectors alike.
